Wheeler Wildlife Refuge - 10/12/2010

The Refuge is "tenderbox dry" with no soaking rain for many months. As such small watering holes are a gathering spot for many forms of wildlife. This morning one such watering hole was host to a nice sampling of "song birds". Hopefully the rains will come soon as the migratory birds are starting to arrive.
