Today the volunteers and some of the WNWR Staff began clean-up work to improve the entrance to the Beaver dam Boardwalk in anticipation for next Springs re-opening. The pathway to the Boardwalk was grubbed of fallen and major overgrowth. And the signage was cleaned so they would look proper during this years limited Fall use. After finishing the list of moderate chores a cookout was held do all could enjoy a grilled lunch. A good day for workers and the refuge.
