As one water holding area flooded and went out of it's banks....fish , like this german car[, were swept into shallow water and then had to work hard to get back into deeper water. Many service roads along the river were found blocked by water-soaked logs that had been pushed out of the river by "floating islands of debris" coming towards the shoreline and ramming the logs on the roadways.

The german carp is a beautiful bottom sucker, but has very little food value unless you pressure cook it and then haven't a problem with the smell.
