This dirt road service bridge was interesting in that the roadbed was made of rough cut timber planks layed on edge. It had been used for many years and had developed ruts and troughs from timber to timber and along the wheel path. The fact that it had been, for years, gravels for traction during the Winter's snow times just added character to each plank.
