Franklin Auto Museum

1405 Kleindale Rd.

One of Tucson's best kept secrets is the Franklin Museum. Tom Hubbard's collection of Franklin cars and his historic adobe home are now in the care of the H.H. Franklin Foundation.
The museum needs more room to expand and there is a possiblity the museum will be moved to Syracuse, New York, where the Franklins were originally manufactured.
Date last Franklin car was manufactured: 1934.

17 April 2006 UPDATE: The Franklin cars may be staying here in Tucson after all. A court has stopped the move for now. More news to come.
1 April 2006 UPDATE: The Franklin cars from the Thomas Hill Hubbard/H.H. Franklin Foundation is having a new home built for the 34 cars housed here in Tucson. It will be on 70 acres near the village of Cazenovia, NY. This village is the site of the annual Franklin Trek where fans of the Franklin gather together.

As of Summer of 2016, the Franklin Museum of Tucson Arizona will remain in its present location on Kleindale for the foreseeable future. The efforts to move it to New York came to naught and the people behind that are no longer in control of the museum collection. --Thomas Higgins

Didn't realize there were Franklin's in Tucson. Hope to make it down from Phoenix before you move back to Syracuse.

My grandfather, Thomas McHale of Syracuse, was a diecaster for Franklin and find the cars fascinating!

I have a spectacular collection of Franklin ads from all eras and publications...many from early Life Magazines of the teens and twenties. Condition is near mint and prices are low...from three to five dollars with a lot price included.
I would like to send a package on approval..look them over...keep what you like and return the rest. Its really that simple.
If you are not interested, would you please contact me and let me know..perhaps you know someone else who collects Franklin Autos or any others of the period...I have them all...
Thank you,
Sandra Baker
