Blue = Concrete footing pinned to sloping bedrock, use rock on exposed surface.
Red = Rock wall to level of concrete footing
Orange = Cedar log crib retaining wall, about three feet high to trail surface.

All fill in 6 to 10" lifts with geotech fabric on each lift.
