Goat Creek Trail Project, 2006

The Goat Creek tail is located in the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The trailhead is located about 8 miles SE of Morton WA. A tree and a 20' section of the trail fell away in the winter of 2005-06. The sloughed off trail is about 10 minutes from the trailhead. The trail was impassable to stock and some hikers at the side. The Lewis County Chapter of the BCHW has maintained this trail for years and working with the Forest Service the Chapter completed the design and repair of this section of trail.
