Sitka is a 6 years old Bald Eagle, hence the white feather has not developed yet. Sitka had a missing large toe, which would made it impossible for her to hunt in the wild, and so she stayed here. This is a talk
given in the Center where a trainer brought in the bird for the audience to have a close view of the beauty. Really, she's quite pretty.
