a reminder to focus on my dreams...thank you. i am hoping to return to the far east as soon as i can, Cambodia in particular, and i definitely plan to take prints to give to the people i photographed there. there is one girl in particular who i hope to meet again. my heart finds her every day. my favourite photos of all time are of her http://www.pbase.com/ruthemily/image/47433475) and another girl i spent a lot of time with in Siem Reap. i so desperately want to be able to give something back with my photography. i need it to have a purpose and reason. keep this up, please, you're making a positive difference!

Wonderful thing to do Mark. I remember I had been to Shimla in India in 2005. I had taken shots of a shoe polisher and a horseman there. This year when I returned to Shimla I remembered to take their photos in the hope that I might see them. I did. they were very happy to see their photos.

I do it very often myself and the
joy it bring with it is amazing......
and Boy o boy do people react.....
Their reactions are full of amazement and joy.....

i've done it with most of the kids in my gallery....
and It kind of attaches you with them.....
This kind of act surely deserves a vote.....
