Finches are everything - greenfinches are beautiful bullies who won't stand another bird on the same twig, bullfinches on the other hand are amiable family birds who enjoy company and fill the forests with their melancholic voices, calling softly to each other. Hawfinches are clowns, always good for a surprise and a laugh. Siskins are the harbingers of spring, only happy in great numbers and the most fearless small birds I've ever seen.
