Rome tourbus photos : Impressions from a doubledecker

Since time was short, on Day 2 we took a doubledecker tour of Rome, getting seats on the upper deck, to get a sense of the city.

The day ended with some night shots of our neighborhood attraction after 10pm.

I will be going to Rome soon. We will only spend one night in Rome but will have a guided tour for a day. These pictures are breathtaking and are getting me more excited about going. We will be on a ten day cruise visiting ports of call in Italy, Greece, Sicily & Turkey. These photos were most helpful

Thanks very much, Dan ! Unhappily we had only 2 days there and weren't able to see the inside though I had a ticket that was included with the one for the Colosseum.

You have very nice composition and lighting. Your unknown structures are the outside view of the palatine hill - imperial palace ruins (some 6 or 7 emperors built their palaces on top of each others ruins) Inside is impressive from the massiveness of their palaces.
