Pictures from Montepulciano area. After Pitigliano, we drove to Montepulciano, an Etruscan city sitting atop a limestone ridge, where we stayed at Meublè d'Riccio, a former palazzo, beautifully cared for by owners Giorgio and Ivana Caroti. Here is their photogallery, which is a nice tour of the place. From here, we explored also, Pienza and Cortona. Will be adding here a few of Cortona, which we visited from Montepulciano, where we were for almost 3 days. |
