Smokey Afternoon

Taken in our front yard, this is the smoke of the Valley Fire which is actually burning 20 miles behind me.
At the time I took this the temperature was 104°F/40°C.

Reminds me of the Black Saturday fires near our town in the Yarra Valley in 2009, day turns into night with the dense smoke. A great capture of the drama Walter, stay safe! V

A nice image the soft coloring is nice as is the evening light.
I hope the fires die out with some pouring rain and that it does not reach your place.
The heat wave is not fun keep the AC going.
