Aomori

Aomori is in the northwest corner of the main Japanese island of Honshu, within sight from the Sea of Japan shoreline of Hokkaido. This region is famous not only for the World Heritage site of Shirakami-Sanchi (pictured elsewhere here) but also for its apples and apple juice.
