17.01.2004?

Saturday morning and I have to trek over to Nottingham again for a progress meeting as yesterday was spent at home minding Chris having a sickie. Do I mind, not a bit as it's a gorgeous frosty morning and the meeting will only last an hour. This means I get to spend the rest of the morning at The National Watersport Centre just a couple of miles away at Holme Pierrepont instead of dancing or football training (kids weekend activities)! There's not too many canoes going down the rapids but there's plenty of wildlife waiting to be photographed. This is one of the better ones of the bunch IMO, there's some more swans, gulls, redshanks and mallards to see if you CLICK HERE. That gallery will be updated over the next couple of days when I get time to edit the pics.

They're not only more difficult, but I think I much prefer this one anyway. I would like to get out and 'get some birds' (sic) and notice that I have the same lens as you. Well Done!

Both good pics, but I'd go for this one, if only because birds in flight are more difficult to do!
