17.01.2004?

Saturday morning and I have to trek over to Nottingham again for a progress meeting as yesterday was spent at home minding Chris having a sickie. Do I mind, not a bit as it's a gorgeous frosty morning and the meeting will only last an hour. This means I get to spend the rest of the morning at The National Watersport Centre just a couple of miles away at Holme Pierrepont instead of dancing or football training (kids weekend activities)! There's not too many canoes going down the rapids but there's plenty of wildlife waiting to be photographed. This is one of the better ones of the bunch IMO, there's some more swans, gulls, redshanks and mallards to see if you CLICK HERE. That gallery will be updated over the next couple of days when I get time to edit the pics.

Such an elegant creature. Well captured. Each image is unique Ian, difficult for me to offer an opinion. The seagull in flight is a difficult capture, you did it well. I like both.

Oh, this is gorgeous. What a pretty neck that swan has, and you show it off perfectly.

Wow, very impressive, as are the other bird images.

I like both birds, but this is my favorite. Nice form and highlighting.
