Remarkable how this finally turned out. Several "dry runs" were needed to set everything up and finally everything was in place and it was time to light the candles and take the photo only I was too far away for the candles to light me up properly. Several attempts later as you can see by the ever decreasing candles and the melting chocolate, can you see it's a little more glossy around the candle bases, and this the result... is it going to be like this every day??!!
