My family and I spent just one day in Pagsanjan, a place about two hours drive from Manila
upon invitation of our friends Bryan and Girlie. We were also joined by papparazzis from AACC.
The house where we stayed was stunning. It has an adoration chapel, a fountain, a gazebo full of
paintings and artwork, a veranda overlooking the river and lot more. We were fetched by the boats
and started to head on to the famous Pagsanjan Falls. While "shooting the rapids", one can not help
but admire the strength and skills of the bangkeros as they try to navigate through the rocks
using just their hands and feet. At the falls, visitors can opt to take a raft to go to
the waterfall area. The raft is pulled by rope by two muscled men. After the waterfall
shower, we headed back to the house for a sumptuous lunch. In the afternoon we drove to Paete
for some sightseeing. It was a long day for us but was certainly worth the experience.
To Bryan and Girlie, many thanks for your hospitality.
