Such a powerful image Ana, perfect with the great poet's words. I've looked at this image many times since you posted it, and it has always made an impact on me on many different levels. The combination of image, and words are truly indicative of your amazing, creative vision.

Very strong photo and words.
You are everything, Ana.
I am everything.
Let's uncover our faces.

Não tenho a certeza, mas penso que deve ser um extracto do Livro da Intranquilidade. Adoro o contraste acentuado e o grão, que dão um impacto quase sinistro à cena. A mensagem está muito bem veículada.

Interesting poem and image that complement each other well. I see Pessoa's poem as a nihilistic statement. We are nothing, there is nothing to life except for what we put into it. The thought can be quite scary and paralyzing as your SP shows...

This is a moving image, with or without the words, Ana. Very intense and perfected with the panoramic crop.

It is a sin that mirrors exist. To reveal those blemishes and lines like mistakes and sins that I would rather ignore. They sting me like a bad memory that bullies any comforting thought.Reminding me with pained truth, as I stand bent before it like a weathered signpost.Of the other paths and directions that my life should have pointed to.Instead of existing as a flippant weather vane to fall away with the chance of fate's folly breeze. My sobbing face covered by the shaking finger veil.Obscured by hair tangled and dripping like a cat-of-nine tails bleeding with the misery of my tortured heart.I cannot come to terms with myself. It must be someone else's failure. The shower behind me rains heavy with my sorrow.Drowning my cries. As my paleness leans, sinking lower. The single light short circuits. And I collapse in utter woe.For hours it seems.

And then a concern knocks upon the door.Unlocking a sliver light into my deadness.

My lover comes to me.
My salvation and comfort forever.

(Excellent turbulent mood and poetry.V!)

"At that momment, around the world how many think of thenselves as genius ? But how many historyshall remember ? ( free translation, from memory)
For calling Fernando Pessoa and quoting "The Tobaco Shop" , that shop of one Lopes, without philosophy, you did jump a lot in my consideration. Who understand and love Pessoa, who understand and know "A Tabacaria" , is someone out of the crowd.
jorge
