I hope that the emotion is still there.

É uma impressionante retroversão. Coloco-me na pele de um nativo anglófono e, por momentos, abstraio-me (ou faço os possíveis...) da minha condição de filho da Língua de Camões - sem dúvida consigo apreender a essência da mensagem... da emoção. Também gosto bastante da imagem para ilustrar o poema. É, sem dúvida, um bom trabalho ilustrativo da simbiose de palavras e emoções. Parabéns!

Again, I love the classy combination of poetry and image. To make is perfect you should add- it´s possible but too tricky, see Anna Pagnacco Galleries- music.Here I would add any Gnossienne of Eric Satie.By the way, again, as far as goes my english , your translation is perfect.Maybe Vasco Graça Moura could do it better, but he´s a pro. I love this Gallery, your idea and the way you put it down. Talvez não tenha nuita audiencia, mas afinal isso é apenas democracia, a ditadura das massas ignaras e manipulaveis pelo menor divisor comum.OK, não precisa protestar...cada um fica na sua. I will never forget the time, when u showed me this poem first..And..well about the photo..I love those purplish colors mixed with the orange..the colors express the way of love..sometimes its warm red, sometimes its just cold as the blue color...Wonderful! A.

Yes, Ana, the emotion is there, with your picture too. My English is very poor, I could never do that, but what I like is that it still sounds like a poem, you recreated some figures, repetitions or alliterations there ("It is not wishing better than wishing good" "It is what we win when we lose") That makes the feeling.
