I wonder why this girl gets up so earily when she looks still tired. Must be something bothers her that probably kept her up all night. Even she is trying hard to get on with life by having breakfast(just like every normal day) but obviously she can't get rid of all the troubles in mind. The darkness and coldness are too much to bear even for me, I keep expecting there will be someone comes and sits with her at the table. But there is no one...

Ana, I enjoy your self-portraits!

jorge

Yes ,being forced most reluctantly to endure the blending of days .Being pushed through a world that cannot wait for our peace nor our sanity.I am glad that morning's first glance through your world is a whisper of lightness.Sleepwalking until 10:00 is permisable :-)

I like the way you play with darkness

This is a fantastic image! Such a contradiction here... Morning has arrived but you seem to be as tired as yesterday night. There's an overwhelming feeling in the composition: indeed a hard morning.. it also looks like a hard moment in the life, looks like there's no chance at all.. the darkness around you, in spite of the light of the morning, is the most shocking element of the photograph. I can 'feel' your tireness and also your pain here. Very touching!

Hard morning, sometimes I know them depend what time I go to bed, when you work the day after, hiac! Now on these days I don't care I am on holidays for 3 weekds. I take it easy. A very nice picture, we can feel how hard it is!
Best regards
Guy

It's the extra place setting that does it for me ANA, for a moment I thought, no, that is the setting of who is taking the picture, then I thought, but she always takes her own portraits, then I thought, ah she has deliberately done it to confuse and tease us. Or maybe she was expressing how hard this morning really is....you play with my mind ANA.

It's as if the morning has come, but the night still lingers upon you, Ana. You are awake, yet are still asleep at the same time. You are trying to eat, but seem without appetite. This is a study in contradictions and opposites. (Marisa will see even more, I'm sure. )

Good work, Ana. Such a hard morning, it seems you are not even lucky enough to be blessed by the daylight. Or perhaps, you are eating in the dark because the daylight is hard to face? And what's this? An place setting but there's no one there? Harsh! Good work!
