Superb shot, Ana. The tension comes from the angle; making Christ appear to be lurching forward, doubling his pain but unable to release himself, fraught in perpetual suffering for our benefit.

A magnificent image! Through the uncertainty and unknown world of ages man has woven hope, love and perserverence.Creating a light for the human condition through stories of generations.Ripples of brightness in a silent dark sea.Powerful!V!

Well Ágnes, your view of my photo is really very interesting and it's absolutely fantastic that you can see so much in that shot, because I think you saw the truth...

Feel's like in this srtange World there's nothing left for us, just to pray..to a simbol..to a created -or not created, who knows..- person..to a statue of a crucified body..It's always make me think...What's behind it?...

On this shot, exactly because of the tilt, u give a strange mood to me..like..we are living in a broken Wolrd..we are going not to the right direction..our thoughts are curved..to a non real way..Strange...

Threw this warm, colorful shot i got the feeling of untrue, and made up things about the Church and religion.....

U manages to make a very differnet shot..with a very different mood..that's,where real talant starts!

I love the use of highlight and shadow with the vertical line Ana. Well done.

You know what I hear with this foto?
The opening movement of Mozart's "Requiem" in big echos all arround the space of the Batalha Monastery! Can you imagine the sound, Ana?
In the foto seams like The Son Of God is suspended in the air...!
Great artistic eye you had on this one!!!
Parabéns, moça!

I agree with Kal. This shows your ability to use abstraction as the basis of expression itself, Ana, not just for mood or context. You have quite an eye. I'm impressed more and more by your abilities to evoke ideas with each passing day, and am very proud of you.

Absolutely brilliant Ana. The cross you create yourself to make a point is extremely clever, and the mood becasue of your choice of metering is exceptional. It speaks of salvation from the darkness to me. Wonderful.
