Your composition and perspective is wonderful in it.

Ana, I like this composition and the fact that you have tilted the picture. This way, We feel more that she has so many things to carry and she struggles to keep it all in equilibrium. Christine

Fantastic Ana! love that little tilt of image... speaks volume.

I second Kal, Ana.
While I enjoy your study and research on SP and daily life moments, I also think that it is time to go out now and try another approach and perspective.
Streets of Portugal are an endless source of inspiration. Little by little (take your time, don't force yourself), you will enjoy as well.
I vote now, for the picture (great composition in itself) and for the encouragement to try more...
Parabens ! ;-))))))

Well Ana. This is a departure for you in my opinion, and it shows what a great and brave photographer you are becoming. Moving from the Self Portrait to the photojournalistic (and visa versa!) is a mammoth leap. You show here that you can do with other people (and by that I don't mean Agnes who you know)what you can do with yourself...express the moment. Stunning.

As Gilles says you took a risk and it worked powerfully. I love Rod's narrative poem. So powerful. The image and the writing take me away.--Rene

My last rite.Sheathed and awaiting to be fed to final ebony hour.My fading color never to be held by anyone's love again.Perhaps a darkened word, neglected on a silent stone. That will succumb, obliterated by forgotten weathering time.Still she held me at this last moment.Even though the rest of my everything had fallen away. And was slipping from her tender grasp. The rest of the eyes in the world were as dead cold as concrete. But from hers, I could feel a light of respect, dignity and honour. She would mend. And release my thorny ghost from her shadow shroud. She pressed her teary lips to my withered petal pout a final time before laying me to rest.Bless her.

- your unmistakable intense vision pierces without compromise V! -

Superb.
This photo doesn't tell a story, it IS the story.
A story unknown.
