2016 Day 18 to 19: Firenze (Florence; City of Firenze (FI)) (Tue 06 to Wed 07 Sep 2016)

Our time in Roma had reached an end, and on the morning of Tuesday 6 September we boarded a Frecciarossa train north, heading back to Toscana (Tuscany) and in particular the city of Firenze (Florence).

We arrived part way through the morning and went to check in to our rented apartment. The rest of the day would be spent exploring the city, and going to the Uffizi art gallery. The following day we would do a day trip out to Cinque Terre in Liguria... but that's a story for another gallery.

Since we spent little time in Firenze on the 7th, I've combined the two days into one gallery.
