And finally, we are on approach to the port of Naples to take our boat to Capri. This is a closer approximation to Naples traffic, although it still doesn't catch the utter chaos of it. Cars are cheek by jowl, crammed into every spare square centimetre, although at least in this case they are all travelling in the correct direction.
I know from experience that that isn't always the case.

In the background you can get a sense of what the morning light is like by the water. Yes, it can get glary by the water here in the Illawarra as well, but absolutely nothing like the lower latitudes of the Mediterranean.
