It took me a while to figure out what on earth this is. The chimney suggests that it may have once been an industrial site, though if it was I can't find out what it once made. The wings though, it may be assumed, are purely decorative. Behind here is in fact the Università Iuav di Venezia. (IUAV stands for Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia; the architecture university of Venice. However it goes beyond that; it has faculties for Architecture, Regional Planning, and also Arts And Design.
