2010 marked the year that I started my first "Photo A Day" (PAD) gallery. The objective was to take one photo every day. Of course I didn't make it anywhere near that but it ended up being most days. Looking back at the gallery now, I find that actually very few of the shots were just of "some place"; it was a mixture of the various places that I went over the course of the year, weekend activities and still lives at home.
The gallery has a very distinct feel to me - looking back on it from 7 years away I can still feel "how it was" back then, which makes me a little perturbed that I haven't really kept up the habit of PADing in recent years.
The majority of the shots (though not necessarily the majority that I used - would have to have been taken around my workplace in Pyrmont simply because I was there 5 days most weeks. Accordingly I've nominated a shot from there as my example shot for that year.
Here we see some of the new (and very expensive) high rise buildings going up at the time.
