Originally I hadn't flagged this shot for upload, but if I didn't do it than the last shot of Orvieto would have been the pretty appalling one where I was trying to look down the funicular railway and frankly Orvieto deserved better than that.

I'm not sure what was happening here, but they were obviously setting up for some sort of party in the square to the left of the Duomo. If you leave aside the shopping areas, this is about as busy as this charming and quiet little town gets. Certainly, there is plenty of activity to keep the eye busy.
