One of the two most common signs in Italia, disturbingly; "For Rent". The other one being "For Sale". Wherever we went, these signs were there; on abandoned factories, warehouses, shops and other commercial premises.
It speaks of an economy that is not doing as well as it might.
I'm not sure what this is, though, I have to admit. There is playground equipment in what appears to be a back yard, but it seems a little austere - stark, even - to be a home. But then... what constitutes a home in some parts of Italy might not necessarily be what would be considered to be one in a lot of the Anglophone world. (That's an observation, not a judgement.)
