In the original caption for this photo I said that the station is in Perledo, though it was originally called Varenna. With the benefit of hindsight (including living in an apartment in Varenna for 3 days on the 2019 trip, and hauling our luggage from the apartment to the station), I think it's fair to say that it's a lot closer to Varenna than to Perledo, which is a bit further up the hill.
(Both of them are about half way up Lake Como, just north of where the lake splits into two branches.)
It also serves the nearby town of Esino Lario, hence the triple barrelled name. Although it's sub-alpine you wouldn't think that from the vegetation around the station.
It's interesting that people walk between the tracks to get on and off the train. NSW Trains would have collective heart failure if they saw that.
And of course we have one {bleep}hole on the opposite platform in an Australian Cricket Board shirt having a fag. Doing that on railway stations and bus stops in (most of) Australia is not only anti-social but now illegal, what with your "right to smoke" stopping at other people's lungs. But hey, when you're overseas you can do what you want. They're only foreigner lungs, right, cobber?
Oh, wait... it's apparently illegal in stations in Italy as well outside of designated areas. Way to represent your country, Bluey. 'Ava schooner, mate.
