Three weeks in Italy, one week in Switzerland. We finished our tour of Italy in Milano. From there we needed to catch an Italian regional train to a town called Tirano up near the Swiss border. From there we boarded the Bernina Express to head to the Swiss city of Chur, and then an intercity train to Zurich.
This is our train to head to Tirano. Unlike the Frecciarossa that had brought us into Milano from Firenze, this is not what you would call "state of the art". And with the windows locked shut, it was like a sauna. Thankfully within about 15 minutes one of the guards came through and opened the windows.
