My original intention was to document the entire day's journey from Milan to Switzerland, and possibly even combine the images together to create a video of it. As the day wore on my enthusiasm for doing that diminished and indeed there are barely any shots of our trip from Chur to Zürich.

However at this time of the morning the enthusiasm was still there and I was taking shots of various scenes of my trip through the Milan metro system. In this case, someone who is desperate enough for some breakfast food to be raiding the vending machines on an otherwise empty Metro platform. She must've been seriously hungry! (Although this is Italy; when it comes to food it's likely that even their vending machines are considerably better than ours.)
