On our second full day at our hotel (the very nice indeed Relax Aquaviva), I set out for some pre-dawn shooting. For this I needed either a tripod (which I did not have) or an obscenely high ISO (which an M43 sensor does not do well, usually).
This shot is bad enough as it is but it was almost pointillist before I ran Photoshop's Smart Sharpen over it to carve out some of the Gaussian blur. Why can't somebody invent a full frame with the size and weight of an E-M1?
Still, I wasn't going to give up this particular memory for the sake of a bit of sensor noise. This is the quiet country road that our hotel was on, but that's not the hotel; it's another hotel called La Pergola.
