I'm posting this image in the last week of December, and had entirely forgotten what a wet period we went through during early to mid November. In the photo prior to this we see a storm approaching Thirroul railway station.

In this one, exactly one week later, we see intense, driving rain which in fact caused the closure of our rail line for some time. I ended up giving up and going into town to have some dinner, then returning a couple of hours later after the rain has subsided and most of the rail issues had been cleared. Although even then, if I recall correctly I ended up on an unscheduled service heading south.

Actually, this shot doesn't really do justice to how intense the rain was falling despite the fact that in the foreground (just above my signature) you can see streams of water pouring off the gutters.
