Not the sort of thing that you expect in the middle of a city, but on the other side of Flinders Street near the railway station is a community garden of sorts. Most of the patches are in fact tended by local restaurants. In the shot, for example, you can see a sign marking one of the containers as belonging to The Press Club, a nearby upmarket eatery.
As a consequence, some of the ingredients on the menu are very fresh indeed.
In addition, a barbecue is generally held by one of the South American restaurants on Fridays around this area.
