Stokehouse was originally a restaurant located in St Kilda, but that place was gutted by fire. It has since rebuilt and has also opened this second site in Alfred Place.

I looked at going here, but the narrow menu and the stratospheric prices (I love my steak but have yet to find a 300 gram one justifying a $60 price tag) made me decide against it.

I've made a mental note to try the bar at some point in the future, where the food prices are more reasonable, though.
