Do you want to make a bet that his famous sculpture "The Thinker" would have been cast a little differently, in light of current social behaviours?
This shot is merely one of a whole range of subjects that I shot on this particular lunchtime. That's because the main purpose of this lunchtime's shoot was to see what effect using the circular polarising filter on the 40-105 would have, in particular whether it would cut down on the appalling level of glare that I get during my lunchtime shoots since that's the only time I get to do them. This one was still pretty contrasty (the shadows are quite sharp), but there's no avoiding that during summer, I think. I'd say this and some (not all) of the others were improved by the use of it and I shall, of course, produce some further ones before the seasons turn.
