This shot looks back east along the Shipwreck Coast. If you made it this far you'd probably make it to Melbourne. Probably. By now the heavy cloud of earlier in the day had blown off giving good visibility. Yes, the wind was howling and that was kicking up a lot of wave action, but this probably wasn't the kind of day that you'd be likely to be wrecked on.
On the other hand... if it did happen I wouldn't want to try to make it ashore in these conditions.
