After a relaxed and enjoyable (and tasty) lunch at a local Mediterranean restaurant, a group of us went to have a wander through Oatley Park which sits on the shores of the Georges River in Sydney's south. I could have done with the company of the 40D and the 24-105, but the trip was spontaneous so the Olympus had to pull the duty.
There was quite a bit of birdlife in the park including a substantial number of sulphur crested cockatoos, rosellas and rainbow lorikeets. Examples of the first two groups can be seen in this shot.
(Or, as Lucy the Cat (PAD of 26 February) would rather think of them, "Entree, Main and Dessert, if only ah was fast enough to catchez dem".)
