It's been a fairly comfortable autumn to date. Temperatures have been cool but not cold, and the days have generally been sunny. When I woke this morning, though, I heard heavy rain falling outside but it had cleared by the time I left.

Some vestiges of the rain were still visible on the pavement, and of course the leaf itself is a reminder that he seasons are turning.

As long as they don't turn too far in the next couple of weeks; I have plans that I could do without weather interruptions of. After that it can be cold and rainy for a month if it wants.

Then we should be ready for spring...
