Located along one of the boardwalks in the park is a replica of a miner's hut. As will be seen from the following shots, "rudimentary" would be a good word to describe the living standards. Note the mining tools attached to the outside wall (though whether this would have happened in practice is another matter since I imagine that theft wouldn't have been too uncommon) as well as an oil lamp attached to the wall on the far side of the door (mostly obscured by the tree).

The hut doubles as a storm shelter when a rainstorm flows through the valley; indeed, we used it as that on our way through.
