For yesterday's PAD I went out at lunch time on a beautiful, sunny, cool but pleasant day to resume my lunchtime shooting habit. Indeed, I found enough subjects to keep me in business for the rest of the week.
One problem: they were all sunshine-oriented shots.
So when I left for work this morning and looked up to see not stars, but 8 octas of grey clouds, I thought... "Uh-oh". Yes, I'd forgotten to check the weather forecast for that week, which is quite unlike me. I assumed that we were in for a few more days like yesterday.
While that put a spike in the original plan, I went out with a few other ideas in mind. This guy's coloured umbrella wasn't one of them; that just dropped into my lap when I saw him crossing he road ahead of me. Life (and photoshoots) are like that sometimes.
