I haven't taken a PAD shot since Sunday, which is way too long. But it has been a h3ll of a week at work, not helped by my assistant being on leave meaning that I've had to handle everything myself. Today I conducted a training course and while standing in front of a group of people talking for 6 hours sounds like an easy gig (after you give yourself a crash course in creating PowerPoint data flow animations), it's worth bearing in mind that you are the one, sole and only person in the room who cannot switch off for those hours.
Put another way I'm feeling more than a little fried, yet I had a distinctly itchy shutter finger after 5 days. It's raining outside and while there are photo ops out there on this dark and rainy night, I can't bring myself to go out and get them. And thus, at the risk of falling into a stereotype that some PADers claim exists, I have elected to go for a minimalist shot of some nicely shiny objects.
