This is not the shot that I set out to get. I did get that shot, kinda-sorta but not exactly, so I'll save that subject for another time.
Figuring that railway lines and all the things associated with them provided ample urban subject matter of varying types, I did a recon along one such line, scoping out likely shooting spots. One that I found was near Belmore station on the Bankstown line. Now this clearly isn't a railway station, platform, passengers or rolling stock but it's a laneway that runs off the car park behind it. In the end I found that I liked this shot better than the other ones that I had done.
The rain is forecast to clear to a sunny afternoon and a sunny but windy Sunday, so further rain shots can wait for a while, and I think tomorrow's will be a daylight one.
