I do enjoy doing night shots. I do enjoy doing rain shots. I do enjoy doing reflection shots. Normally I'd have been in heaven this morning except that I do enjoy them a whole heck of a lot more when I have a tripod, a remote shutter release, and enough time to do a few frames to create an HDR image. However as I had a limited amount of time before the bus came and no tripod much less the cable release, I had to do this one au natural and rely on the 24-105's IS a little. You know what I want to do one day when it's forecast to rain heavily overnight? Book myself into a hotel near the Quay with every piece of equipment I need, then head out about 2 to 3 hours before sunrise and just shoot everything within a couple of kilometres.
It's of interest (but unsurprising) to me how much sharper the reflections of the signs are than the signs themselves.
