Gracious Hostess
Lake Zug

*Best viewed in Original*
Not every day on a camper-van adventure is spent in a tent. In Switzerland, the
entire family of a friend of a friend were our gracious hosts for several days. Here, in
a large and luxurious villa overlooking Lake Zug in central Switzerland, we were
treated like royalty. Wonderful hosts, great local home cooked food, the mandatory
nap after our midday meal, learning to love a splash of red wine in a cup of hot
black tea - these were the experiences to permanently weld great memories.

I can't say that we had anything to do with it, but many years later, I learnt that
our lovely hostess had moved to Australia to live. I'm sure she missed lovely Zug.

This available light 'snapshot' portrait is not a great image, but it is a great memory. full exif

I don't agree with your remark that the portrait is not a good image. I feel it in my stomach when I see it especially in combination with the vastness of the sea view. Great! Vote
