Horse and River Diptych

Charleston SC

Adjoining pair of negatives from the 1927 Ensign All-Distance 6x9 Box Camera,
using the '9 feet focus' lens setting, and the standard infinity setting.

The camera has good negative spacing, but there are light leaks,
and I think the shutter may be running at around 1/30th.

Looking at the horse face at 4 feet, and rump, I'd guess the close focus limit is about 6 feet.

You made it work despite its being creaky. Two good photographs the "old fashioned way".

These are two lovely shots. I wouldn't know were to start with a film camera!
