Taiwan has the highest 7-Eleven outlet density in the world (ie, more per capita than any country:
Japan #2, USA #3). In many places you can stand at one 7-Eleven and see the next one up the
street! The Taiwanese refer to the store as “7” (using English)…most not having a clue to its
original meaning. In Taiwan, at 7 you can pay your phone bill, pay your car taxes, send packages,
etc. etc.
