+ June 16, 2022 was our last day in Wales. We left Lamphey after breakfast at the hotel and headed for Cardfiff where we stopped at the St. Fagans National Museum of History which features many old buildings transplanted meticulously from all over Wales. There is an old church where paintings from pre-reformation times were discovered. This is a major attraction because artists have used their imagination and findings to create paintings throughout the church to look like what they might have looked like 600 to 800 years ago.
When we got on the coach to head for Heathrow we knew it would be our last coach ride and we were so grateful that we had a bus driver, Andy, with both great expertise at driving and great enthusiasm for the tour. We had a special room for dinner at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel. Most of us were headed home the next day so Caroline worked hard making arangements so we would all get to the airport in plenty of time. And we did.
