SCOTLAND 2011

Mary & I and our friend explored Scotland by rail, bus, boat and foot in Deptember 2011. A highlight was seeing a spectacular sunset while walking on the bridge from the mainland to the Isle of Skye after a great dinner. In Kirkintillich I went to the library and the helpful librarian got the microfilm out which made it possible for me to see the original birth and baptism record of my great-great-great-great grandmother recorded by the kirk (church).
